Just received my second one today. I've had an Oreck for about 3-4-yrs now. Never had any problem with it at all. Clean it when needed and mine runs continiously. I'm reading these reviews and wondering what/where on earth these people used the Oreck Air Purifier for; perhaps a lot of animals or constant smoking. Quiet, easy to clean, no need to buy filters, noticeable difference in air quality in the roomI bought a used one and it didn't matter how much soaking scrubbing and compressed air I used it still smelled terrible.

My unit is not working like it should. I will probably be calling soon to see if it can be fixed. I have had it less than three months and I am already having problems with it.
