I also ordered the Gardus extension and it connected without any issues. If you are going to use this one. Go from the dryer side. If you go in from the roof with tight turns it will twist up and bend.

I just moved into a new home. The dryer vent was so clogged, my clothes wouldn't get dry and moisture was accumulating in the laundry room. Works but really you need a drill and the directions say you should duct tape the joints, and you should as it might separate. Extremely easy to use and well worth the money to prevent any sort of clogs in dryer vents, and or fires! Works well, I really like that I can hook up a drill to it (unfortunately, my drill was a bit underpowered to spin it at it's full length).
