Power Light Does Not Come On Ionization Control knob not turned on. Turn knob clockwise to turn on. Front cover not secure. Check cover for proper placement. The unit has a built-in child safety device. When the cover is not fastened properly the power is shut off for safety. Unit not firmly plugged into electrical outlet. Plug in power cord firmly into electrical outlet. No voltage in wall unit. Check fuse or breaker. Collection Sheets Stay Clean Yet Power Light Is On Ionization line is loose. Disconnect unit from electrical outlet and check ionization line is securely Ionization line is broken. Replace Ionization line (see Parts Installation). Air purifier is dirty. Disconnect unit from electrical outlet. Clean ionization line, main body and aluminum plates with a clean, soft cloth. Do this gently and carefully, making sure not to snag ionization line. Replace the Dielectric Collection Sheet (see Maintenance).
