When I got there, it was all sold out. So, I decided to give this generic brand a try. My husband and I bought a house on foreclosure, and the carpets are not in great shape.

Unfortunately we cannot afford to replace the flooring right away, so I will do almost anything to get the stains out! I have rented steam cleaners and have used various spot cleaning products to try to clear up the worst stains; they have helped, but it hasn't been enough to make me completely happy. I really was shocked when I finished cleaning a 3x10 foot area of carpet. The carpet looks the best it ever has before! I sprayed the foam and let it sit for a few minutes, then I got on my hands and knees with an old towel and a bowl of very warm water, and I really worked the foam in (I tried to keep the towel damp [not soaking] I didn't want my carpet ruined from too much water). I let it air dry for about 10 minutes, then it was still slightly damp I vacuumed over the area. It really worked great! So, it does take some hard work, but to me, it is worth it. I did need to use 1.5 cans of this stuff for a 3x10 carpet area, but it is VERY reasonably priced (compared to the name brands), so I don't mind too much.
