I was amazed after trimming it on and the coming back to the room several hours later to find how cleans the air smelled. The purifier is very quiet on low. On high it is lows but not annoyingly loud. We have slept with it on high. The one thing I do not car for in the design is that it pulls air from the back and pushes it out the top toward the back as well. You cannot put it against the wall which makes it harder to place in a room and not be in the way or look out of place. The quality of the product is fantastic. The night we bought it, we slept all night having no problems of dry air or stuffy nose. The only problem I have is I can't push it up against the wall but overall we love it, it works great and quiet. The loudest it sound is like a fan on low and that's when it's on high. The air purifier works great!
