I have allergic asthma and this air purifier seems to help keep the inside air clean and helps my sleep patterns. I use the 4th fan speed and it doesn't disturb my sleep at all. The highest fan speed setting is a bit loud if you are listening to TV/ Radio, but is still livable and I enjoy the smell of clean air. I would purchase this again if needed for other rooms.
