Has proven very effective in helping with a dust allergy. Nice quality product, Noise level is low and effective at detecting odors, whether food or any other kind. Did find it useful for Hay fever and allergic rhinitis. After I opened the box there was a sign on the air purifier that it contains Diiodomethyl p-tolyl sulfone, so I looked into its safety datasheet, and it can apparently have sever... Bought it to get me through a bout of horrendous hay fever and it made the nights bearable. There are a couple of shortcomings though: First is that my hearing is sensitive enough... I have a strong allergy to cats and apparently I found out only when my Maine Coon (long-haired)cat was 1 yrs old. I have had asthma for 50 years and was recently struggling badly even on very high dose medication. I bought the AeraMax DX55 and I got instant relief. Not that great, hasn't really made a difference in terms of air quality in my room.WORKS BEAUTIFUL AS EXPECTED FOR A FELLOWS
