I ended up returning it. Don't waste your money! This thing seems to work really well! The smelly insert thing that comes with it is very strong and lasts a long time. I was happy with this item right up until the time that I had to change the filter. I bought it for our exercise room, where we have rubber mats on the floor. I bought two of these units - one each for two walk in closets. I basically cannot tell any difference at all in having them running. It helps eliminate some odors, but not completely.
