Not everyone uses a humidifier, but I think everyone with young children should be aware of the humidity level of their home, particularly the nursery. You should also know that you’ll have to clean the unit about once a week, which is simple enough to do by hand in 5-10 minutes of time, tops. My favorite thing about the Crane Drop humidifier? Because it’s the only one on the list that has anti-bacterial technology that claims to kill up to 99.9% of bacteria, mold and fungus in the water. Whether or not this claim is actually true is hard to say, but most people seem to believe it works as it says. The other bonuses are that it’s easier to fill than the Crane; the shape is just easier to handle, where the teardrop shape of the crane can be a little unwieldy and harder to handle. It also has a higher capacity, so you don’t have to fill it up as often. Then again, the Crane does have enough capacity to last all night anyway. On the downside, this one does require a changeable filter to function.

This can be somewhat of a pain, but you shouldn’t have to change it very often; it should last the entire winter, but you should keep an eye on it. It’s also more expensive than the Crane, unfortunately. It’s not the most attractive looking humidifier, but it doesn’t exactly look ugly, either. The Crane is a nicer looking one to be used as a nursery humidifier. Trying to decide between my top choices? Here are the things to consider: All things considered, I still love the Crane as a nursery humidifier, especially because of how it looks and because it also doubles as a night light!
