This is one of these products that you have no clue if it's actually working. I want to believe it does. This thing has done me a world of waste of time total and complete garbage. Does nothing it is a joke Son bought a truck that the previous owner smoked in.. Couldn't get the smell out.. Tried this product and with in about a week of constant use... Smoke smell was gone... Perhaps it does what it says (it does *something*) but I'm not sure it did anything beneficial & stopped using it. I really wanted to believe in it, but I just can't. It's quiet and keeps the car smelling fresh and new (though neither of us smoke). The only drawback is how bright the light is. We have to unplug it when we drive at night. got rid of cigarette smoke, combine this with active charcoal and then get a new car freshener and itll be like the day you got it :D Not really sure how effective this ionizer can be. Especially when it is only working if the car is running. All these things are good for is the blue light because they don't do anything about odors in my car...
