These work very well.  We have super sensitive (Allergies/Multiple chemical sensitivities) in our household.  We just bought a new house, with lots of VOC's (New carpet smell, hordwood floor finish, paint, etc).  We put one in each bedroom and within 2 days all those smells were gone and not reactions from any of the sensitive people in the house!
