It dose clean the air, really . Leave the house , return and the house dose not smell like anything, just clean. it dose make noise, not just the fan. It has a whine I can hear. The foam filter in the front is washable, the HEPA filter needs replaced when the light comes on .

So I will keep the washable filter cleaned wkly and extend the life of the HEPA. Even with the whine, this air purifier dose it's job and I would buy this again.
