Top Rated PlusSellers with highest buyer ratingsReturns, money backShips in a business day with trackingLearn MoreThere’s no question that tech is usually one of the first places people go when it comes to Black Friday deals. Televisions, laptops, wearables—you’re bound to find something in whatever category your shopping for at a decent discount this year if you are diligent about getting out to the stores early enough. It’s always exciting to see technology become affordable to the masses and this year we’re getting some great examples of that, such as 4K televisions. So get out that holiday shopping list and figure out your plan of attack based on our 15 best Black Friday deals in tech: 15. Pebble Time – $129.99 (Target) $40 off The Pebble Time is the second smartwatch from the makers of the original smartwatch, the Pebble. It now has a color screen and a completely redesigned interface. Although it doesn’t have the flashiness of an Apple Watch or Android Wear device, it’s got fantastic battery life and is every bit as useful.
14. iRobot Roomba 650 – $319.99 (Target) $80 off The Roomba gets a lot of flack these days, but it’s pretty cool when you get over how silly the concept is. At $80 off the normal price, this is a great deal for that person in your life who hates vacuuming and would love the idea of having a little robot in their house. 13. Fitbit Charge HR – $149.99 (Target) $50 off For the health nut in your life, the Fitbit Charge HR is an inexpensive little wearable that tracks your health stats throughout the day. It’s not a full-on smartwatch, but it has a small display that gives you an update on your stats, as well as the time, and even some notifications from your smartphone. 12. iPad Air 2 – $499 (Best Buy) $100 off Apple products pretty much never get discounts outside of when Apple directly announces them itself. However, for Black Friday, stores usually give discounts by providing free gift cards with the purchase. This is the 2014 model because the iPad Air line didn’t get an update this year, but it’s still one of the best tablets you can buy.
This one is $100 off at Best Buy when you buy the 32GB or 64GB version and even though it’s not a true discount, it’s still a fantastic deal. 11. Canon Rebel T5 Cameras (Walmart) Photo courtesy of Flickr user Karlis Dambrans. Camera discounts can be kind of hit or miss for Black Friday, but this year Walmart has a couple of nice deals for Rebel T5 cameras. First is the entry level Rebel T5, which is getting a $100 discount for a total of $399. Meanwhile, the EOS Rebel T5i is also $100 off, for a total of $649. 10. Apple Watch – $249 (Best Buy) $100 off The details of this deal haven’t been specified outside of the price, but my assumption is that this discount is also in the form of a $100 gift card. However, the chance to get an Apple Watch for $349 with a free $100 gift card should entice plenty of people who were on the fence about the whole smartwatch thing. 9. Beats Studio 2 Headphones – $169 (Walmart) $130 off Beats headphones always get pretty nice discounts each Black Friday and this year is no different.
At $130 off these great wireless headphones, this is one of the better deals for Beats we’ve seen in the past few years. 8. Bose Solo 15 TV Sound System – $299 (Amazon, $150 discount)air conditioner inside coil cleaner Getting a television sound system can often require a lot of research and even more extra dough. air purification systems hvacIf you don’t have the time or money, this Bose system is a great way to go and is on a $150 discount through Amazon. how do you kill mold in air ductsThat means you don’t even have to get up early in the morning on Friday to pick this one up!Sorting through Black Friday ads can be overwhelming, so our editors have pared down the thousands of offers into a single list of only the deals that are truly great.
From TVs to tablets, and everything in between, here are the things you need to be on the lookout this week.Unsubsidized iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus with a $250 Target Gift Card for $0 down at TargetAnything that can take the sting out of paying $650 or $750, respectively, for these Apple phones is a blessing. Assuming you can find something to spend $250 on at Target makes this the best deal we’ve seen on either of these models. Of note, Walmart will have the iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus bundled with a $100 bill credit and $100 Walmart gift card, if you’re looking to shave money off the cost of the purchase of the actual phone and not on some mysterious future purchase.Subsidized Apple iPhone 6S Smartphone for Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T for $150 at TargetWe still stick to our guns (iGuns) that this model will go on sale for $99 somewhere, at some time around Black Friday. (How’s that for being specific!) However, until that time, this is the best subsidized iPhone deal out there — and you could do worse than getting it for $50 off.
Subsidized Apple iPhone 6S Plus Smartphone for Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T for $250 at TargetEverything we said for the iPhone 6S deal above, we can say for this one too — except for the price prediction. For this model, we wouldn’t expect it to go as low as $99, but we’d hold out for a greater discount than $50 off this one. Still, until a better deal comes around, this is as good as it gets.Apple iPod touch 16GB Media Player for $165 at WalmartThis is the latest generation iPod touch that was released in July, which means this will be the first discount we’ve ever seen. Walmart will cut $34 off the list price.Apple Watch with $100 Target Gift Card for $349 at TargetIn our predictions, we held out no hope for a substantial discount on the Apple Watch. In fact, we’d prognosticated a measly $10 off. The inclusion of a $100 gift card is much better. Of note, Best Buy is offering the Apple watch for “up to $100 off”, but it’s unclear what models receive that full discount. (If we had to guess, we’d say the more expensive models are the ones that’ll get the full $100 off.)
Apple TV 64GB Streaming Media Player (current generation) for $180 at hhgreggThere are certainly cheaper streaming devices out there (even cheaper Apple TVs, if you see the entry below); however, if you’re “all about” Appleand “all about” being the guy with the top-of-the-line devices, then we’d say that this is the best — and only — deal out there on this device. At $19 off, it’s a modest discount compared to our predicted Black Friday price of $135 for the 32GB model; however, a deal on the less-expensive model could still come this week.Apple TV Streaming Media Player (3rd generation) for $52 at TargetSince other stores (*cough* Staples *cough*) are offering the previous-generation Apple TV for full list price on Black Friday, that means this is a solid deal. In fact, it’s the best no-rebate price we’ve seen. (We did see it for $50 shipped via mail-in rebate a couple weeks ago, but this deal is only $2 measly dollars more.)iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus with a $250 Target Gift Card for $0 down at TargetAnything that can take the sting out of paying $650 or $750, respectively, for these Apple phones is a blessing.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Smartphone for Verizon with $500 in Credits for $26.25 per month for 24 months at StaplesIf you switch to Verizon and purchase the phone with a monthly payment plan, you’ll receive a $400 Visa gift card and a $100 bill credit. That’s like getting a $500 rebate. After you consider the $630 you’ll pay over the course of 24 months, it’s like a net cost of $130 for the phone, which is the best offer we’ve seen for this flagship phone on Verizon. Of note, if you really hate Verizon enough to pass up a $400 gift card, Walmart offers this phone with a slightly bigger billing credit of $150 and let’s you can choose AT&T or Verizon as your carrier. They also throw in a gift card, but it’s “only” $100.Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB Smartphone for Verizonwith $500 in Credits for $26.25 per month for 24 months at StaplesThough we’ve seen this phone offered for less than what you’ll pay with this offer, over the 24 months of your payment plan, this Staples promo includes a $100 bill credit and a massive $400 gift card that ultimately makes it the sweetest deal on this phone.
So, if you’re in the market for an Android phone, and don’t want the Samsung Galaxy S6, you have options!Unlocked Motorola Moto G 8GB Android Smartphone for $100 at Best BuyBut, seriously, if you don’t want a Samsung Galaxy, there are other options — but not necessarily high-end, flagship options. Though, after seeing the total prices you’re expected to pay for unlocked smartphones, we’re guessing this $100 model might come as quite a relief to your wallet! The Moto G has gotten rave reviews as the best cheap Android phone, too, so it’s probably the best bang for your buck this Black Friday, especially since this would be the lowest price we’ve ever seen for this phone.Amazon Fire TV 4K Streaming Media Player for $75 at Amazon,hhgregg, andStaplesThis deal settles in at our $75 prediction, so we’re fairly confident that this will be the best price you’ll see during Black Friday. To add a layer of suspense, Amazon says this deal will go live at some point “between November 20 and Black Friday”;
on the other hand, you’ll know exactly when to line up at brick-and-mortar stores to get those other deals.Amazon Fire TV Stick for $25 at Amazon, Staples, Best Buy, Kmart, or MeijerThough $5 more than we predicted for this device, it sure is available everywhere, so it might be the easiest streaming device to pick up in-store this Black Friday! Alternatively, Amazon will sell its Amazon Fire TV Stick with Voice Remote for $35 ($15 off) online at some point between November 20 and Black Friday. They are the only store, so far, to offer a deal on this model, if you prefer the upgrade.Roku SE Streaming Player for $20 at hhgreggUp until this month, there was no such thing as a Roku SE. This Black Friday-specific model was announced already “discounted” to $25, casting doubt on the validity of its “list price” of $50. But the model seems akin to the specs for the Roku 1, which also costs $50, making that $25 discount a pretty sweet deal. Plus, hhgregg puts all the rest to shame by knocking an extra $5 off on top of that;
getting a Roku for $20 is fantastic.Roku Streaming Stick with a $10 Hulu Credit for $40 at Sam’s ClubWe predicted that this device would hit $30 this Black Friday and if you kinda tilt your head, squint your eyes, and count the $10 Hulu credit as a $10 savings, we’ve totally nailed this one. Not a Sam’s Club member? hhgregg, Office Depot / Office Max, and Meijer will also sell it for $40 on Black Friday, just without the Hulu credit.Roku 3 Streaming Player for $80 at hhgreggThis is $20 off and within $5 of our prediction for this player. However, the biggest differentiator between this model and the cheap-o Roku SE above is that this one has voice control. If you can live without that (and all the other little bells and whistles), you might want to save the $60 and opt for the SE instead.Two Google Chromecast Media Players (current generation) with a $12 Google Play Creditfor $50 at CostcoWe had to pull out a calculator and do the math to realize that half of $50 is $25, meaning that each of the individual devices in this 2-pack meet our predictions.
