Foundry guy says we may have to fix one thing but should be a easy fix. If all goes well maybe next week we will have some castings. Not sure how what my holiday schedule for my pattern maker is or my foundry guy but will get some sort of time line today I hope. Richies Nostalgic Auto Partswell been pretty busy over the last couple months. Sold my 38 coupe it went down to be in the sunshine in california. But it will be at the grand national roadster show from what the chuck (the buyer) told me told me. Well here is the top of the pattern for my new two four scoop which I hope will be done in a week or so. Also working on a gas cap that will slip over the top of standard caps that will have a spinner look like moon's. and the big thing is I am working on a 8 de...uce log manifold for a 392,351,331 hemi. With the help of chuck it will become a reality hopefully in a couple months. Looking to get a web site up and running in the next month or so which is a big undertaking for me seeing as I am pretty computer dumb about things like that,but should be fun once it's done. This pic is of them fresh from the foundry before clean up but wanted to let you folks see what they will look like. Hope to have some available in 2-3 weeks.Richies Nostalgic Auto PartsAlso dropped my mock up for my fuel log off at foundry today to do a trial cast of it. Hopeing it will work the way I want it to. It will be able to have fuel outlets from one to six. and will be able to do the 5 1/2 center to center for small block chevy tri power. It is in the works to add a breather hole in the top middle to them also putting ...a core in the mold to have nailhead cast into the side of them. It is a different font then just block letters and I think it should look pretty good.
